Inspiration for The Herbal Medicine Chest
When I first began to delve into the world of herbal medicine, I couldn’t get enough! A few weeks after my very first herbal classes, my partner and I took a cross-country road trip - which I took as a fun excuse to create an herbal medicine chest full of exciting new remedies to prepare for whatever was to come our way. We used and shared them with others throughout the entire trip, and I felt so empowered and supported by these time-trusted preparations.
This course is a bit of an homage to that fresh newborn herbalist, and also a desire to offer and share the wisdom and teachings that I’ve received over the years.
The class will be divided equally into:
covering 10 - 15 common herbs that can be grown in this climate or sourced locally
learning how to prepare these herbs as teas, syrups, tinctures, etc
and simple herbal & lifestyle “protocols” for everyday ailments
